Based in Osaka, Momo is a passionate cultural ambassador dedicated to helping visitors experience the authentic side of Japan.
She founded Nihongo Hanaso ("Let's Speak Japanese") in Singapore to bring together people interested in Japanese language and culture. After returning to Japan, she expanded the community online through cultural events and workshops, connecting participants from around the world.
During her years in Belgium, Momo organized numerous cultural activities at AWA Centre, including calligraphy workshops, mochi-making events, anime festival outings, karaoke gatherings, and cherry blossom viewing. She also gave a lecture on Japanese calligraphy at the Embassy of Japan in Belgium.
Today, Momo combines her local knowledge of Kansai with her experience as a certified calligraphy instructor for the Japan Foundation and a sumi ink artist. Whether recommending hidden gems, sharing local traditions, or guiding visitors through Osaka and the Kansai region, she is committed to creating meaningful, authentic, and unforgettable experiences in Japan.
